The space
Summer on Whitefish Bay runs at its own pace. Mornings start with coffee on the porch and a three-minute walk to a sandy Lake Superior beach you'll often have entirely to yourselves. Days fill up fast: paddleboard the calm morning water, climb the 72 steps of Point Iroquois Lighthouse just down the shoreline drive, day-trip to Tahquamenon Falls, or watch freighters slide across Whitefish Bay on their way to the Soo Locks. After dark, grab the UV flashlights waiting in the kitchen and hunt Yooperlites along the beach, the glowing rocks you can only find on Lake Superior shores. And on a clear night, the Aurora Borealis can still put on a show over the bay.
Come back inside to a cabin where every room tells its own UP story. A nautical room stacked with ship's wheels and lighthouse lore. A vintage fish-camp room lined with trout prints and creel baskets. A game room loaded with arcade classics, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and a bar for the grown-ups. An upstairs movie room with karaoke, a wood-fired sauna for after the beach, and a freestanding soaker tub tucked under the dormer that might be the best bathtub in the Eastern UP. Three acres to roam. A firepit where every night ends.
3 bedrooms, sleeps 10. Built for families and groups who want the full UP experience in every season.
