Downtown Bellaire and Short's Brewing are five minutes away, Torch Lake is fifteen, and the Glacial Hills trails are close enough for a morning ride before breakfast. The space
Your fall basecamp in Bellaire is ready. This ground-floor 1-bedroom condo sleeps 4, with a king bed, a sleeper sofa, and no stairs to haul bags up, five minutes from downtown Bellaire and fifteen from Torch Lake. Antrim County color peaks roughly October 8 to 23, and the best of it is a short drive from the door.
WHY GUESTS LOVE IT: FALL
🍁 Torch Lake color tour. Drive the east shore with the hardwoods turning over that famous turquoise water. It is one of the best fall drives in northern Michigan.
🚴 Glacial Hills Pathway minutes away. 30+ miles of trail for mountain bikers, trail runners, and hikers, and fall is when it's at its best: cool air, firm dirt, and color on every ridge.
🍺 Short's Brewing five minutes down the road. The original Bellaire pub is a northern Michigan institution, and fall releases make it worth a second visit.
🌲 Grass River Natural Area just outside town. Flat boardwalk trails through cedar and wetland, easy for all ages, with tamarack turning gold later in the season.
🍎 Orchards, farm stands, and cider mills across Antrim County. Fall weekend errands up here come with apples and donuts.
🦌 Hunters welcome. Grouse opens September 15 and archery deer October 1, with state land a short drive away. Ground floor means easy in and out for early mornings.

LOOKING AHEAD: WINTER
When the snow comes, Glacial Hills turns into groomed fat-bike and cross-country ski trails, downhill skiing is a short drive away, and downtown Bellaire is still five minutes out for dinner after a day in the cold.
Bringing a bigger group? We also manage units #108 and #114 in this same building. Book all three together and you have room for up to 12 guests, all on the ground floor, all with the same easy check-in. Send us a message before you book and we'll handle the coordination.
